After I had finished the chores for my boss I was tired. rather than walk back to the office, I caught public transportation. So, on this gorgeous spring day I walked to San Pablo thinking that I'd just simply catch AC Transit back to my business office. My assistant had told me she enjoyed taking bus rides in the city, I thought this would be a superb day to ride the bus back to work. Later, I sat at the bus stop next to a homeless man who was sleeping on the bench. The unkempt stranger was wrapped tightly inside a mouse colored tarp as he slept on the splintered wooden bench. Soon as I sat next to him he opened his tired blue eyes and said hello. I rose immediately and apologized for having interrupted his sleep.

I'm sorry. Didn't mean to wake you up,"" I stated. The tired man smiled at me through red, tired eyes. Next, he rolled back over to continue his sleep. It was a nice sunny day in Oakland, California and I was glad that it was not raining on this poor man. Soon the green, white and orange AC Transit bus pulled up to the red curb. And that is when I realized that I did not have money to get on the bus. The driver opened the electric door and I told him, ""I forgot my purse. I am sorry you had to stop. Just keep going,"" I stated. Right before the driver closed the door - the tired, elderly homeless man sat up and he fought to fish a wrinkled dollar bill out of his dirty plaid shirt pocket.

Take this ma'am,"" he stated. Tears rolled immediately down my cheeks. This was the nicest gesture I'd ever seen. ""I can't do that..."" I said, worried that this man might need his money for food later. ""I insist,"" the kind man stated. Everyone from the bus driver to passengers on the bus was moved by this kind man's gesture and we all waved to him from the bus. Suddenly a spark had come to his eyes and now he was sitting up waving frantically to us as the bus traveled further down the busy street. When I got back to the office it was hard to forget the nice man. Later, I told my co-workers about the nice homeless man at the bus stop and what he did. On the following day -when some of my work team went back to the bus at identical time I was there the day before, we traveled bringing blankets, water and food meaning to see the nice man - but he was not there. For a week we all went back to the bus stop hoping to see the nice man that we never saw again. That stranger's generosity formed the nexus that changed my life. His kind gesture will remain glued to my heart forever. Now each time I help people like that kind gentleman helped me I am reminded how of what we are all capable of doing for our fellow man.

Today as I was sitting in my rocker contemplating the nice man I discussed above  I pondered what my next book would be about. It was not long before I knew that I wanted to write a book about giving back. Some of the best memories of my life have to do with giving. There are several ways in which we can build a difference in somebody's life by just taking the time to help. I am not a rich person, and like most Americans I am but a paycheck away from being tested. I run a network of entertainment sites and for a while I was earning ten dollars per thousand impressions with search engine AdSense. Not bad. Google AdSense just isn't what it used be and for whatever reason search engine dropped my revenue to less than a dollar per thousand. This devastated my revenue and sent me scrambling for alternatives. I tried some other AdSense type networks and it was even worse. One of them I was making five cents per thousand. You can't earn cash off that.

I tried the CB Ads and I based the ads on a keyword search. I was bringing up entertainment products such as MP3, TV on your PC and dating and relationship eBook  and my revenue with Clickbank shot up precisely to forty seven dollar per thousand.

Here is the best bet. Use both. Really, you have to have three to five different monetization methods on your site. Diversity creates stability. If one monetization method tanks you're not left high and dry because you have other sources of revenue. I like this method: AdSense, CB Ads, a CPM network and a cost per action network. sometimes I will often sell my own ads on top of that and I'll use a third-party like Ad-engage to mange the sale of my own ads.

So to recap, try both, but I highly recommend using both and several other forms of monetization. Never be afraid to try new ways of monetization... after all, you can always stop if they don't work. Furthermore, never grow complacent in finding new ways to earn some money with your sites. Always be on the look-out for new ways to earn money.

Much has been written about the demise of search engine's AdSense of late, but the advertising behemoth still seems to go from strength to strength, despite competition from Yahoo! and Microsoft and despite many webmasters' dissatisfaction at how search engine run their program and their labyrinthine Terms of Service (TOS) conditions. Yet, there are rumblings on the net about various 'AdSense Killers'. Is Google's behemoth about to be toppled from its dominant position, and who's waiting in the wings, seeking the title of Giant murderer?

Many have pointed towards ClickBank as a possible 'Adsense murderer', but are they correct in this appraisal? On the face of it, probably not... AdSense and ClickBank work very differently. AdSense is rather much a marketing tool. it is a way of displaying advertisements on your web portal that are matched to your site's content by search engine itself. As such it is a powerful tool in that you get the ads in return for some of the real estate of your websites. Each time someone clicks on an ad that you display money is credited into your AdSense account. AdSense is therefore a PPC (pay per click) systems.

ClickBank works more like a brokerage house. Their aim is to put the vendors of electronic products in touch with affiliates who will promote those products. They handle the relationship and manage the sales. This is the major problem of ClickBank in that it's geared towards managing the affiliate-vendor relationship. it's not geared towards the selling of products. If you wish to promote a product supported by ClickBank then you have to go to the vendor's web portal and either use their affiliate tools (if they have them) or you must create sales pages and sales blurb based on the information you can find about the product.

You can then either create a sales page or you can create ads that resemble those delivered by AdSense for your own site. This is laborious, but can be done. But once you have those ads, things are still different. As an affiliate (though you are selling the vendor's product you are in fact, in effect, an affiliate of ClickBank) it doesn't matter how probably the vast majority of people click on your ad... you only earn a living when a product is sold. Admittedly, you could be making $40 or more on a single sale whilst you might only be making pennies from an AdSense click. So, if you have enough traffic ClickBank-based ads could be very financially fruitful. But you still have to create those ads yourself.

This is where a number of third parties come in. They take the ClickBank product feed, dump it into a database and create AdSense-like contextual ads based around the ClickBank product database. But there is one major problem to this approach, in that many of the product descriptions and titles in the data feed that ClickBank make available to all  are styled to attract affiliates and not to directly sell the products themselves. In effect, the majority of the descriptions provided tell you how good the product is for an affiliate marketer to promote, rather than how good it's for someone to buy (and why they should buy it).

These sites have tried to address the various issues surrounding ClickBank's products feeds.  One of these is the Celt net ClickBank Marketplace, which is unique in that each product is checked and the product descriptions and product titles are annotated by hand. Each product is also backed by an image either of the product itself or of the sales web presence. These are all loaded into a database which is searchable. Other systems either use the ClickBank data feeds or take screen scrapes from Affiliate pages to populate their product description databases. Whatever the methodology employed,  extended descriptions make these systems more versatile for any affiliate looking for ClickBank products to promote than ClickBank's own search systems as they are sales very than affiliate centred.


But the real advantage of these sites is that many of them provide tools so that you can create your own AdSense-like contextual ads based on selecting a subset of ClickBank products, or on using searches within the sites' databases to pick-out a range of products. For the main, simple tools allow ad blocks to be built (just like you do for AdSense). Typically, these can be configured in terms of appearance, like AdSense ads and the content can be specified in terms of the section of ClickBank you wish them to appear from or based on any keywords you specify. Thus you can make the ads as specific to your site or web page as you require. Most of the better ad providers serve their ad blocks dynamically so that the ads seen change on every refresh. Each time ClickBank updates its product feed the database and therefore your ads are also updated.

The newest feature for these providers of ClickBank-based ads is the growth of image-based ads. These are AdSense-like contextual ads but they give the product/website image along with titles and text. As research has shown that image-based ads can be more effective than plain ads this could be a real boon for your site.

The only problem with serving AdSense-like ads is that these are contextual ads an thus you cannot display these alongside Google ads, as this breaks search engine's terms of service. there is, however, a way around this problem. A number of sites providing ClickBank-based ads also enable you to generate an RSS feed of ads. These can be incorporated into your web presence or even your blog. But as this is 'news aggregation' and not a contextual ad you can mix these RSS feeds with search engine ad units with no penalty.

Many of the sites will also empower you to copy a search box for your website that uses their databases and descriptions to allow your visitors to search the ClickBank products listing for any product or service that they need or want. This can be a very powerful and simple way of adding a new revenue stream to your web presence, again without breaking Google's TOS.

The most reputable of these sites offering ad units will empower you to embed your own ClickBank nickname (affiliate ID) in the many different products and services so that any sales are credited to your own ClickBank account. Typically they randomly assign their own ClickBank ID to between 15 and 20% of the products displayed so that you get 80% of sales and they get 20% of sales, which is how they earn their income.

I own a business and it has suffered greatly due to this economic environment. As a result, I decided to try and find ways to earn some extra money while sitting in my shop. I stumbled upon Project Payday and Clickbank. I found Clickbank first and was very excited to get going! I looked at the products and services offered on Clickbank and chose a couple. I spent hours doing this for a solid week or two and I received zero sales. perhaps you must just keep going and eventually it will happen. The other major problem I found with Clickbank is that you promote products you have never tested. I mean, you could buy the products, test them and then review them, but what if you still don't receive sales after all your effort? Now it cost you time and resources. Many of the reviews are made up because people are just trying to make sales. This is one site that does not enable you to make false claims and ""pitch"" products which is why i am obsessed with this site! I personally think the market is over saturated and we if you're reading this, chances are you're just finding out about Clickbank too, so we may have missed the boat with this one.

The other major player for online income is Project Payday. Luckily I tracked down the businesses and they were able to reverse the charges. Needless to say, I'm not going to progress with this company either.

Most recently I found another company called Global Domain International. Now, this is one is different because it doesn't cost you much at all, ($10.00) and you see results in seconds. I signed up 4 days ago and I already have 5 new members under me. I went through the 2 step process from the emails I received after signing up and what la, I had results. I'm very confident in this program. it is a multilevel marketing, but you do not need to try and get all your colleagues and family to join. As a matter of fact, when I first joined, I sent invitations to my family and friends and none of them joined. I found all my members from yahoo advertising and I found an offer with yahoo for $100.00 of free advertising. When ever I have a question, I email someone from my up-line and I get answers. Everyone is optimistic and helpful. So far so good!

And it only advertises your product to people who have shown a vague interest in it by typing some relevant keywords in its search engine. Even better, you dont have to pay search engine a cent unless someone clicks on the link to the product or service you advertised. Now do you comprehend why it's a huge accomplishment?

So does this mean that you should use Google AdWords to generate wealth online? The answer is No, you must use google AdWords only to market a product or service online!

Make certainly sure that you have set aside a marketing budget to spend on search engine AdWords and state your maximum spending limit on Adwords. Otherwise, you will literally burn money that you can't afford!

Remember that search engine AdWords ranks your listing using various criteria. The price you are prepared to pay is only one of them, albeit a major one. A billing that generates more clicks can well be placed above yours if it is generating more clicks.

This means that as you have started buying a keyword, you have to expect to pay more. But if you have generated some accomplished clicks, you should bid less and hence reduce your costs. you may still be placed around the same average position or maybe even better.
Log into your Google AdWords account every day and monitor your costs. Otherwise, the costs will immediately spiral out of control. You can run a budget of multiple millions of dollars if you are a large company. If if you are the little home-based business who is marketing his (or someone else's) product, chances are that you are generating this marketing money out of your paycheck or savings. So clearly, this money is limited and means a lot to you. Actively monitor the keywords that are generating clicks, and lower your bids on those that have been generating clicks
Remember, Google AdWords is like a car. It can be familiar with take you from A to B, but it can get you into a nasty accident. So just like you would learn how to drive a car before in fact driving, I strongly urge you to grab one of the following eBooks and read thoroughly before you start using search engine Adwords.
