Minimalism is a religion for some people, they just keep cutting things for the sake of cutting them, thinking it is neat, awesome, amazing, whatever. It is not amazing, they are being one upped by homeless people every day who get no kudos for it. So what?
That said, I still have an interest in going more minimal in my own life. It is definitely part of my strategy. Here are 3 good reasons why (and one bad reason):
1) One point of minimalism for ME is to be able to move my housing situation quickly. Rent increase is NOT cool. If I have way too much stuff then I am trapped by a rent increase.
2) Second point of minimalism for ME is that I want less waste.
